In May, Lynn University Associate Professor, Dr. Pricilla Boerger and her education students purchased and donated 20 new blankets to The Slomin Family Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, Inc. Knowing we are set to open July 1, Dr. Boerger and her students, all members of Kappa Delta Pi, were aware that new cots had just been purchased by The Center but felt soft new, plush blankets would be perfect for nap time for the 3 to 5 year olds attending!
The purpose of the KDP organization at Lynn is to give back to the community, usually the local education community. We are grateful for this gift and for the support from Dr. Boerger and Kappa Delta Pi.
